Need Help getting CO driver's license Dear Max, I am hoping you or your staff can suggest a course of action for me. On Monday, my husband's temporary job was extended until the end of June 2011. We were able to register both the cars in Colorado and get license plates. We also registered to vote. My husband, David, was able to get a Colorado driver's license, using his current California driver's license, but they told me I needed a birth certificate to prove that my middle name is "E.", as it says on my California driver's license and on my passport, which I showed them. They wanted my full middle name, which is "E."So, today I gave them my birth certificate and they said it wasn't acceptable. It was issued by the city of Cincinnati, not the State of Ohio. I called the state of Ohio Vital Statistics, explained the situation and was told it would take at least 5 weeks. (The driver's license CO folks said I needed to complete the application in 30 days) The lady from Ohio said even after 5 weeks, it might not

John Suthers I believe it is appropriate for to work on a measure to prohibit the Colorado Attorney General's Office from expending any funds to pay salary or anything else on the litigation protesting the new health care reform bill. If that is not possible, perhaps a 30% reduction in staff and budget would garner the attention of our attorney general. Please let me know what can be done in this regard. Thank you. New Health Care Reform Bill I think our Attorney General is not giving Health Care reform a chance by joining the lawsuit against it. I want you to know how much I disagree with the lawsuit. Submitted By: Jim Stevens

The creation of jobs by the government When I see that the government is "creating jobs", I see more taxpayer money going out of my pocket to fund goverment projects - this is not the same as the creation of a positive climate for small businesses, who actually create products and services that the public can use, thus increasing jobs for citizens. The government is too big, and cannot solve everyone's problems. Back off, get out of our pocketbooks, and let America rise up. Submitted By: Susan Hogan
