Congressman Ed Perlmutter (CO-7)

Ed Perlmutter has called Max Tyler one
of Colorado's "master problem solvers,
thanks to his experience in building
businesses and his commitment to giving back to his community."

Mayor Jacob Smith, Golden

"Max Tyler had big shoes to fill when
he succeeded Gwyn Green as Golden's
representative in the state legislature,
and he is doing a great job. He knows
Golden, he's been very engaged for a
long time, he's extremely accessible,
and he's been a stalwart advocate for
our community."

Mayor Bob Murphy, Lakewood

"I don't judge candidates based on
their political party, but on how they
support issues important to our City.
Max Tyler takes a positive approach
to solutions and has worked hard

Welcome!
Dear Neighbors,

I'm Max Tyler,
your State Representative from House District 23, covering the communities of Golden, Lakewood and Applewood.

As a small business man, I know what it takes to meet a payroll, balance a budget, and make smart investments.  I bring that same focus to my work at the statehouse.  I will always work to hold government accountable and balance the budget, to grow our small, local businesses, and to protect the vital services people depend on.

I know people are struggling in these tough economic times.  That’s why I wrote groundbreaking legislation to triple the amount of renewable energy we get from wind, solar and other clean, locally produced sources.  This new law will help create tens of thousands of new, good-paying local jobs and ensure our energy security in the years to come.

Coloradans deserve a government that is honest, effective, transparent and accountable.  I’m not afraid to stand up to special interests that put profits ahead of people, because our communities always come first.

I’ve lived in House District 23 for more than 20 years, and it’s an honor to serve my friends and neighbors.  I’m always happy to hear your thoughts, ideas and concerns.  Please don’t hesitate to call or email me, anytime.

Sincerely,
